I was starting to feel bad for the guy. Allen Iverson is reportedly going to sign 1-year deal with the Memphis Grizzlies for $3.5 million.

Wow, his failure with the Pistons really really damages his value, didn’t it? One bad season and your career is supposedly over; “too old”. We’ll see if he’s too old. I have a feeling he’ll do quite decent.

His biggest weakness right now, in my opinion, is his jumper. If he can consistently knock down mid-range jumpers, there would’ve been more suitors. With his low shooting percentage and his need for a lot of touches didn’t appeal to a lot of GMs. A team would have to change their whole dynamics to include Iverson on their team. and lots of teams had their own plans which they didn’t want to alter too much. Understandable…

Nonetheless, I am happy that Allen Iverson is going to be playing this season.

Michael Beasley was encouraged by the Miami Heat to enter the rehab (somewhere in Houston).

I don’t think Heat was going to do any damage this year anyways; though, I do feel bad for Jermaine O’neal. I wanted him to play on a winning team. O’neal seemed to be working hard this off-season.

Dwyane Wade is probably going to leave unless Heat brings in one of the other 2010 guys, which is probably all Heat are hoping for.

Wow, Jason Williams, the “White Chocolate”, is unretiring and joining the Orlando Magic.

The Magic should be good this year. With the addition of my man, Vince Carter, Magic has my attention. I’ll be following the Magic as much as possible. I hope they win the championship this season. I only say that because I don’t think Raptors actually has a shot at winning the whole thing.

But I do expect the Raptors to get to the second round; otherwise, it would be a disappointment.

Back to Jason Williams. I wonder how much he has left in him. He was always fun to watch.

Will he be good enough to be the second point guard? Or, is he going to be the third pt man behind Anthony Johnson?

We’ll have to wait and see.
